For a while, I only had a few categories of my blog showing up on the main page, with the other sections only being available by clicking on the category name in the side-navigation menu. I did this to keep the site focused on the few categories that I felt would get the most readership, but it turns out that there are as many people reading the main content as there are reading the oddball content.

I've now decided to let everything show up on the index page. I work on so many things all the time, and if the blog is supposed to be a slice of my life, I suppose it makes sense to let it all be as visible as anything else I write about. No hierarchy. Everything is relevant.
