King Fahd Ibn Abdul Aziz of Saudi Arabia died recently. This king was responsible for modernizing/westernizing the Saudi kingdom, and formed an alliance with the US that protected his nation from the attack from Iraq back in 1990. Yet this same king ruled over a nation from which the suicide pilots of 9/11 originated... and yet again, this same king was an enemy of Osama bin Ladin, on account of letting the US into his country in the first place.
