EXTERIOR FRAME TOO WIDE

The track on my engine hoist is 26 inches, and the width of the frame I built was 32 inches. As stated in a previous post, I'd really like to be able to slide the hoist over the frame and drop the engine right on top, but with the wide frame, that just can't happen.
Tonight, I cut the frame down a bit and re-welded it up, and it currently sits at a comfortable 25 inches, giving me an inch of play for the hoist to slide over it.
I didn't get any pictures taken, on account of the batteries being drained, but I should get pictures up soon.
I'll grind down my welds tomorrow and get some more built up and post some pictures. I'm using an arc welder, so the welds aren't exactly pretty; grinding is a necessary step, both for appearance and to keep the frame level.
