Since I still have the engine and transmission out of the car, I'm tempted to paint the car. I've looked through the DIY guide over at The Bug Shop a few times, and it does a good job explaining the monstrous task of painting your own car...

The amount of work involved is intimidating, but it sure beats spending $4,000 on a paint job. Hrm. We'll see. I'm not quite at that crossroad yet.
