ROADSTER CLUTCH KIT

A few weeks ago, I picked up a roadster clutch kit (new pressure plate and clutch plate) for my 510. The 1968 2000-Roadster's pressure plate apparently is a good upgrade for the 510, on account of higher pressure.
Just recently, I decided to install it on my 6-bolt flywheel, and I realized that it wasn't going to fit. The peg holes in the flywheel don't mate up properly to the pressure plate, which meant that I had the wrong flywheel on my engine. Fortunately, I had another 6-bolt flywheel handy that fit the new pressure plate, so I spent a little while hooking that up. The transmission is now connected to the 510, so all I need to do is lower it into the engine bay.
Since the engine is out of the car, I need to give some thought to cutting and re-welding the engine mounts so the valve cover doesn't hit the hood. The alternative is to cut a hole in the hood, and I don't think I'm going to do that.
