Turns out that I had a few other things to pay for that I didn't consider. One of the rods needed to be resized; that cost me an extra $25. And I decided to have the folks at the machine shop clean out the block, which cost me another $25. Plus tax... plus cleanup fee... blah blah. It ended up costing right at $150. Oh well. It's still not too bad.
I ordered a set of main bearings on ebay and ended up getting them for $15, and can pick up a set of rod bearings locally for $30. We'll see if I can get them for cheaper. AND... I need to buy a full gasket set, although I might have a set sitting around in the garage somewhere.
