Well, went ahead and got rid of all the leaves floating at the top. I'm pretty sure now that I should have mashed up the leaves, since it looks like it may have been difficult for the yeast to break it down. Maybe that's what the pectin is for... anyhow, i transfered the wine from the bottles into a larger contrainer, strained out the leaves, and then put the wine back into the wine bottles and stuck the balloons on top again. It'll clear up now, I suppose.
Oh, I had a sip of it. it's not bad. bubbly and a hint of alcohol. Very cool.
