I'm sure you've noticed advertisements "powered by google" on sites all over the web. They're generally unobtrusive, which is why I don't mind them so much.
The clever thing about them is that the advertisements are programmed to try to figure out what your website is about, and provide links to advertisers who might somehow be related to your content.
Some clever guy created a site that abuses the google ads by writing funny articles with keywords that'll attract odd advertisers. Take FART school confidential, for example. The google ads include "Free Fart", "Fart Spray - $1.29!", and "Whoopee Cushions." Juvenile, but clever.
Check out the rest of his site. Keep in mind that the advertisements only make sense when you click on the link to a particular post, and not so much when you view the main page.
