I finally got the rear window installed into my 510. I read on various forums that the proper way to do it involves soaped vinyl rope and a great deal of care to avoid breaking the glass. I decided that I'd fiddle with it and ended up installing it the old fashioned way. I.e., I used my thumbs and just went around the inner rubber seal and pulled it onto the track inch by inch. It took me about half an hour, and going that route, there was little concern about breaking the glass. And now I have a rear window.
