I opened up the nursery and added a bit of water to the paper towel in there. The ants were apparently not impressed, and promptly freaked out and scurried everywhere, as apparently ants do.
Here, they are carrying their young into the tube towards the foraging chamber, but they're not actually going into that chamber. I think they're trying to hide their young in the dark spot where the tube goes into the wood.
Here's a shot of the ants shuffling around moving their young.
Also, as I've learned that these ants also eat plants, I've turned the "juicebox" into the "plantbox."
UPDATE: The queen has moved her brood into the tubing between the foraging chamber and the nursery. Right in the middle of it.
