ILLNESS KNOWS NO BORDERS

Being sick with the common cold while in a foreign country is never fun, as you don't have your own bed, and can't rest fully the way you can while at home. Having all four members of your immediate family get the same week-long cold while in a foreign country is roughly four times as bad.
This is really the worst cold I've ever had. Nevermind the subjective aches and pains that I'm feeling that can't be measured -- I'm basing my statment on the volume of mucus that my body has produced. I must have coughed up, blown out, and dribbled at least a gallon of mucus over the course of the week that I've been in Korea.
We head back tomorrow, and I'm sure that the flight is going to be a horrible experience, what with the congestion and cabin-pressure change that we're all going to experience during our two separate take-offs and landings. Bleah.
