This is going to be an ongoing project, and I hope it gets wildly out of control and takes on a life of it's own. So far, I've already recieved $40 in donations from a friend that feels the same way I do, and I'm excited to think that there may be others who will also be willing to contribute.

I'm at a difficult position on some things right now. For instance, my primary focus is on the super-needy, where my aim is to get them food, clothing, warmth, etc. But some folks just want to be able to get toys for their kids this Christmas... and I understand that it's important to them. But... having limited funds, I want to make sure that folks who have real needs are getting those needs met. But... it's heartbreaking nontheless. Maybe I can come up with a toy wish-list that people will buy into, and gifts can be given that route. I don't think I object to that. It's just that my personal tithes that come from my paycheck really need to go those who desperately need help.
