Fox news was showing footage made available through IDF of so-called captured Hezbollah fighters. The two 'fighters' were captured as they ran away from Israeli forces, carrying NO weapons. (italics mine)
Fox announcer: can you explain to our viewers what we are looking at in this clip.
IDF spokesperson: these are two terrorists that the IDF captured this morning. As you can see, they are dressed like civilians, look like civilians and even act like civilians.
Fox announcer: so, how can the IDF distinguish them from civilians?
IDF spokesperson: It is very difficult, and that is why we sometimes have civilian casualties (sometimes???).
Fox announcer (to another commentator in the studio): well, we can now appreciate the difficulty the IDF face in avoiding civilian casualties, these terrorists look exactly like civilians!!!
It is possible that maybe these men look like civilians because... they are civilians? Or should we believe the Israeli propaganda machine and their reasoning and simply accept the deaths of so many Lebananese women and children (who must also be Hezbollah)?
And what of the Iranian fighters that have come to join Israel? While I cannot personally identify a Lebanese from an Iranian, the IDF apparently can.
Israeli TV just announced that invading Israeli troops found bodies of Iranian fighters among dead Hizbullah's fighters. But you, like me, may wonder how the Israelis knew that the bodies were for Iranians. Well, apparently the dead bodies were speaking Persian. Otherwise, the Israeli troops would not have known that they were Iranians.
PS Israeli army brought Israeli Orientalists. They indeed verified that there were Iranian bodies among Hizbullah fighters. They said that the men had beards, and according to their knowledge of the Middle East, only Iranian men have beards. Oh, and Israeli military sources added that they also found documents identifying them with the Iranian Revolutionary Guards. Oh, yes. The Iranian government snuck them into South Lebanon, made sure to give them documents signed by Ayatullah Khamanei to identify them beyond a doubt, and also asked them to wear the Iranian flag shirts, just to make sure. Oh, ya. Ahmad Sa`id (Nasser radio propagandist from '67), who is still alive, is laughing. He is laughing hard. This just in: Israeli military sources now are saying that they also found fighters from North Korea and Cuba in South Lebanon. The Israeli government is also claiming that one fighter from the German SS was fighting with Hizbullah.
Why would Iranians Revolutionary guards, trying to blend into Hezbollah, who are trying to blend into the civilians population, be carrying identification? Or might this also be propaganda?
