It turns out that the *the most senior US military officer, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Richard Myers,* seems to think that we are both winning and not winning the fight against insurgents in Iraq. That's awesome. Or maybe it sucks. I have no clue, and apparently neither does he.
