WEATHERBUG AND THE NWS

So I had a talk with wheeler for a while about the proposal to knock down the National Weather Service, moving all weather reporting (except for emergency reporting) to the private sector. In my surfing the net for corporate blogs, I stumbled upon weatherbug's corporate blog. It's a public-facing blog, which is the new trend among tech-savvy companies. They have a piece about the bill, and provide a pretty level-headed perspective, considering they'd only stand to gain if all useful weather reporting was moved to the private sector.

I posted a comment on their site, so I guess that means I should eventually create a comments section on my site...
