Using the cut-slits-and-bend technique, I managed to get the first part of my exhaust fabbed up. I patterned the bends after the flex-tube that was in the car from the last post -- looks like it serves a purpose for me after all.

I'll have to bend some more exhaust for the area where the exhaust goes through the rear crossmember, and another one where the exhaust leads to the muffler. Lots of work. Lots and lots of cutting, welding, and grinding. I enjoy it, but I'd be happier if my exhaust was already complete.
