I finally got some time out in my garage to work on my car today. Lately, I've been busy working on my welding project, and while I'm in the garage and can see my Datsun 510, I haven't been able to touch the car for half a year. I've just been too busy.
Tonight, after making a metal violin player and a metal man reading on the toilet, I figured I'd use some of my freetime to swap the clutch on my car. The engine and transmission were already disconnected and removed from the car, so I figured it wouldn't take me long.
As often is the case with my little projects, the goal to "swap the clutch" turned into something a little larger. I ended up replacing the flywheel, installing the clutch and new pressure plate and mounting the transmission to the engine, so it's now ready to go back into the car. I just need to prep the engine bay first. It's just another little project...
