LOTS OF CLOTHES

I've been given a TON of warm clothes for my charity from coworkers who want to be involved with helping out folks this time of year. Like... bags of clothes - jackets, sweaters, gloves, socks, etc., etc. I've talked with several people about specific people who could use help, and I'll be contacting those people shortly. Also, I recently chatted with a women who was involved in a soup-kitchen in Alaska where she previously lived. I guess it was very common for grocery stores to donate their day-old baked goods; if that's the case locally, that'll prove to be quite useful!

day-old baked goods are very commonly given away. My dad used to do that sort of thing and pick up loads of the stuff from Safeway. I'm not sure if they still do it, or if they just throw it away because of liability... hmmmmm.... good luck.
