WINGS

I was recently asked to weld together a bird of some kind, and on one side, to have the bird hollowed out with some gears exposed. Sort of a clockwork bird or something.

I'm not done yet, but I did get enough done to take this picture of a completed wing.

I'm not generally one to pat myself on the back for my work, but I'm actually amazed at how well the wing came out. Depending on how well the rest of the bird comes out, I may consider a whole line of birds to sell at a craft show or something.

Now all you have to do is find a way to give the bird life... FRANKENBIRD! haha.. Good job man, it looks awesome!

I am dabbling in robotics, actually. Having a welded bird that moved and flapped its wings would be pretty outstanding.

It won't fly, though. Not without an engine. Hrm. Maybe it's time to start working on an engine. haha...
